About this project
The goal of this project is to show the amount of customers that were affected by power outages by different conditions. This is an interactive dashboard, the user can select a column and the dashboard updates. I found that the most affected region is the southern part of the United States and the most common event type causing outages is severe weather. I would advise the stakeholders to focus their attention on the South, including having more staff readily available in that region to resolve outages quickly. I found it interesting that the most common event type for outages in Puerto Rico was system operations and not weather events. I would also advise stakeholders to take a look at the gridline in Puerto Rico and find ways to reduce outages caused by system operations.
