Maven Mexico Toy Sales

Here is a one page report of the Maven Mexico Toy sales, I am still new to making one pager reports so this has been a learning experience.

The data itself contained four tables (Product, Sales, Inventory, Stores) ranging from 2017-2018.

I started off my analysis comparing sales between 2017 & 2018. Across the year sales in 2018 was far greater across the board compared to 2017 but we don't have the last 3 months of sales data for 2018. But based on the trend its fair to predict the sales would of remind high across 2018 till the end of the year especially if you consider those months are the Christmas months.

Along with the Yearly comparison I also did a weekly comparison and we can see sales trended upward towards the weekend in both 2017 & 2018.

Some other bits of interesting analysis are:

• Mexico City was the most profitable city and had the most profitable store (Ciudad de Mexico 2)
• However, Downtown still produced the most profit overall at 56% and has the most stores in that area (29)
• Toys drove the most profit overall but this was not the same across the all Locations
• Despite Toys being the most profitable product category, Colourbuds was the most profitable product which is an Electronic
