I discovered this dataset from FP20 Analytics November 2024 Challenge and found it fascinating, leading me to build this dashboard to explore sales trends, consumer preferences, and market insights in the confectionery and snack industry. The process followed these key steps:
- Define key questions to guide the analysis.
- Identify KPIs & validate data for accuracy.
- Design layout & color scheme using Figma.
- Present insights through graphs & KPIs in Power BI.
- Check information consistency & apply storytelling for clarity.
🔹 Key Insights:
- 107.5% YoY growth in total sales revenue, reaching €213M.
- Peak sales in Q4, suggesting strong holiday-driven demand.
- Chips dominate (€97M in sales), with Crusty Cheddar leading the category.
- 80% of sales come from supermarkets, making them the key distribution channel.
- Bagged packaging generates the highest sales, reflecting consumer preference for convenience.
🎯 Lesson Learned:
Through this project, I gained hands-on experience in Figma for UI/UX design, and most importantly, I realized that only through real practice can true improvement happen. 🚀
