Planning for the future: U.S. Wage and Employment Trends

What do you want to be when you grow up? For many students, this seemingly innocent question can be daunting. Maven Careers, a fictional nonprofit organization, aims to make answering this a lot easier for high school students.

Using an interactive dashboard, the goal was to help students answer questions such as:

• Which industries have the highest annual wages?
• How large is each industry's employment pool compared to the whole market?
• What noticeable trends exist for wages and employment for each industry?
• What states provide the best career opportunities for each industry?

I built the dashboard with Google Sheets. This interactive dashboard lets students select different industries and change the metric visualized on the map.
