Consumer Goods Ad-hoc Insights

The Code_basic_SQL_Resume_Challenge is a hiring initiative taken by Atliq Hardwares, a leading computer hardware producer in India and other countries. The company management identified a need for better data analytics to make informed decisions and intends to expand its data analytics team with the addition of several junior data analysts. To assess the technical and soft skills of potential hires, Tony Sharma, the data analytics director, has conducted a SQL challenge to answer 10 Ad-hoc requests provided in the file ad-hoc-requests.pdf.

The challenge requires the use of SQL to respond to the ad-hoc queries for the top-level management. Key insights have been identified through the SQL quires code available in the file Ad_hoc_requests_Shehryar_Gondal.sql. These insights include, but are not limited to, the customer's business operations in different regions, the increase in unique products, product segments, manufacturing costs, top customers, sales performance, quarter-wise sales performance, channel contributions to gross sales, and divisional performance in terms of total sold quantity.
