Tailwind Traders Executive Dashboard
Comprehensive Analysis of Sales Performance, Customer Insights, and Strategic Profitability Metrics
Summary of the Task for Each Capstone and How I Did It:
- Capstone 1: Data Preparation and Modeling
Prepared and configured sales, purchases, and country data for analysis. This involved calculating metrics like Gross Revenue, Total Tax, and Net Revenue, setting appropriate data types, and creating relationships between tables. I also designed a Calendar table and a calculated Sales in USD table, ensuring a strong foundation for time-based analysis.
- Capstone 2: Aggregations and Insights
Developed advanced metrics using DAX, such as Yearly Profit Margin, Quarterly Profit, and YTD Profit. These calculations were integrated into interactive visuals like bar charts, pie charts, and line graphs to provide actionable sales and profit insights. I optimized the report performance using the Performance Analyzer to ensure smooth functionality.
- Capstone 3: Dashboard Creation and Presentation
Created an Executive Dashboard to visualize sales and profitability metrics through interactive KPIs and slicers. The dashboard was designed for both desktop and mobile layouts, ensuring accessibility and usability across devices. I published the report to Power BI Service for sharing and collaboration.
