Page 1: Marketing & Sales Overview
The first page of the dashboard focuses on the marketing dynamics and competitive landscape of the cafe chain.
- KPIs: At the top of the page, users can view three primary metrics: Each KPI displays also the percentage change over time, helping users quickly assess performance trends.
- Sales - total revenue generated,
- Quantity - number of products sold,
- Customer Count - total number of unique customers.
- Interactive Maps: Beneath the KPIs, there are five selectable map views, providing a spatial analysis of various marketing and location-based factors:
- Competitor Radius – Shows proximity to competitors,
- Origin & Destination – Visualizes distance from warehouse to the each store location,
- Store Focus – Highlights stores locations and their share of total sales,
- Neighborhood – Portrays the districts served by the shops,
- Competitor Density – Displays competitor concentration in different areas.
- Sales by Category: On the right, users can analyze sales by specific product categories. This section features three distinct views—bar chart, treemap, and scaled treemap—allowing users to switch seamlessly between them. The scaled treemap adjusts based on category selection, providing a comprehensive comparative analysis.
- Sales Comparison Charts: The bottom of the page contains dynamic charts that allow users to:
- Switch between a bar chart showing weekly percentage changes in sales compared to the selected week, or
- A line chart that compares sales values between selected periods and benchmarks.
Page 2: Customer & Warehouse Operations Analysis
The top section of the page delves into customer behaviors and acquisition trends.
- Cohort Analysis: This chart shows monthly sales figures segmented by customer acquisition week, offering insights into customer retention and purchase behavior over time.
- Pareto Chart: Users can assess customer order frequency, based on the Pareto principle.
- Customer Acquisition by Store: This chart visualizes customer acquisition per store location, helping the business understand which locations are most successful in attracting new customers.
The bottom section is dedicated to the backend warehouse operations, giving detailed insights into picker performance and product handling.
- Warehouse Blueprint: A visual map displays the average pick duration per location within the warehouse, allowing users to analyze layout efficiency.
- Picker Statistics: A detailed table ranks pickers by various performance metrics, such as boxes picked, lines picked, average pick duration, and total picking hours.
- Product Cluster Analysis: A scatterplot analyzes product clusters based on the average pick duration and lines picked, helping identify trends in product handling.
- Pick Duration Outlier Analysis: A time-based analysis identifies outliers in pick duration, allowing warehouse managers to investigate potential inefficiencies.
- Picking Duration Forecast: A line chart forecast predicts future pick durations, assisting in resource planning and efficiency improvements.
