About this project

The dashboard analyze 85 popular Halloween candies based on sugar content, popularity, and affordability, which display the following data:

I followed the next steps:

  • Data loading
  • Data cleaning
  • Calculating DAX measures: Total Candies, Avg Sugar Content, Avg Win Percentage, Avg pricepercent, conditional columns for Categories with switch function
  • Creating Visuals
  • Background, image and title creating in Figma and making design

There are 2 pages:

Overview page with KPI-s:

  1. Top 15 Popular Candies:

    • A bar chart shows the popularity of candies
  2. Correlation between Sugar, Price, and Popularity:

    • A scatter plot shows the relationship between candy's sugar percentage, win percentage (popularity), and price percentage with ratio line
  3. Candy Compos:

    • There are multiple categories of candies based on ingredients: chocolate-based, fruity-based, nutty-based, caramel-based
  4. Donut Charts for categories, types, performances:

    1. Candy Categories: Chocolate, Fruity and other -base

    2. Candy Type: hard, bar and others

    3. Win performance: high and low performer

A table displays detailed candy information, including candy type, sugar percentage, win percentage, and price efficiency for candies and right a summary to help for better decision

🍬 Average Sugar Content: 47.86% – almost half of the content in most candies is sugar. 🍭

πŸ₯‡ Most Popular Candy: Reese's Peanut Butter Cup leads the pack with an impressive 84.18% win percentage, striking the perfect balance between taste and popularity.

πŸ’² Budget-Friendly Options: For those looking to maximize value, Nestle Smarties offer a 97.60% price efficiency, making them a smart choice for large crowds.

🍫 Chocolate Lovers Rejoice: Chocolate-based treats dominate the list, but fruity-based favorites like Ring Pop are still sweet contenders!
