About this project

The use of Excel and Pivot tables were used to create the Dashboard for an in-depth analysis of what happened on the titanic Shipwreck of 1912, a British passenger liner, operated by the White Star Line, which sank in the North Atlantic Ocean on 15 April 1912 after striking an iceberg during her maiden voyage from Southampton, UK, to New York City.

Basic Questions Addressed:

  1. How many passengers were on the ship?
  2. How many passengers were in each class?
  3. How many passengers were male and female?
  4. Group passenger age into 4 groups (0 – 19Teenagers, 20 – 39 Youth, 40-59 Adults, >60 Elders)
  5. What age group had the most and least passengers?
  6. How many passengers had siblings onboard the ship?
  7. How many passengers had a child on board?
  8. What were the Sum, Avg, Min, and Max Fare prices.
  9. How many passengers embarked in each location?
  10. How many male and female passengers do we have in each class?
