1. What are the most efficient factory to customer shipping routes?

Secret Factory is in Davenport, in the central zone of USA (between Iowa & Illinois) and most of the products will have to be shipped in the East Coast, having a low volume to ship.

Sugar Shack has also a low volume of units to ship, is located in the north of Minnesota, and most of the products will go to the East Coast.

The Other Factory has also a low volume of units to ship, is located in Memphis (Tennessee) and most of them will go to the East Coast.

2. What about the least efficient?

Lot's O'Nuts will have a high volume of units to ship, is located in Arizona and will have to ship Chocolate products all around USA.

Also Wicked Chocky's, having a high volume of units to ship, is located in the East Coast of USA at Garden City (Georgia) and will have to ship Chocolate products all around USA.

3. Which product lines have the best product margin?

Sugar (68,1%), followed by Chocolate (67,4%) & Other (45%). They can be also viewed per Factory & Product inside Products Analysis left page table.

4. Which product lines should be moved to a different factory to optimize shipping routes?

Due to optimize the ones that have higher units to ship, it will be great to focus on Lot's O'Nuts & Wicked Chocky's, first is located in Arizona (West Coast) & second in Georgia (East Coast) . They both belong to Chocolate products. In order to optimaze shipping routes, we have different solutions proposals:

• Move both Chocolate's factories to any of the efficient ones, probably the ones better located for shipping to all USA would be Secret Factory & The Other Factory.
• In case the impossibility to activate first option, we could stablish one of them as an Logistics Warehouse or buy/rent one on the central zone of USA. That move would allow to decrease the shipping fees & routes, as most of them will go to the East Coast zone.
• Also grouping transports by year & month would allow to optimize it's costs and increase the efficiency of it's service.
