This Performance review was to asses Jay Dianza YouTube channel throughout 2023 by focusing on key performance indicators like views, click-through rates and average view duration for video within a specific period. The target is to show trends, and successful videos and provide support to improve Jay Dianza YouTube engagement with the audience.
i. High Engagement Video: Videos like “Doja Cat Manipulates the Whole Industry” and “Jay Dianza Reacting to a Cuckold Couple Interview” displayed great levels of engagement. These videos acquired click-through rates of 1.6% and 4.2%.
ii. Average View Duration: Videos that have longer average view durations indicate that specific content has engaged with the viewers effectively. For example, “Jay Dianza reacts to a Cuckold Couple Interview” had an average view duration of 7 minutes which indicated strong content retention.
iii. Lower Engagement Areas: Some of Jay Dianza's videos such as “I'm Going to Make a Diss Track on My Friend” and “Football Highlights” show low impressions click through with both videos having 0%. This shows there is still an area for improvement.

The key finding from this graph is that from March to April there was a significant increase in views from 16 views to 264 views. The reasoning for this increase in views during this period is the specific content release: “Jay Dianza Reacting to a Cuckold Couple interview”. This Specific video acquired 14.21% of Jay's content release in 2023.
However, from June to July there was a significant decrease in views from 76 views in June to 14 views in July the reason for this significant decrease is that Jay only released one video in July.
The Line graph also shows from the month of January to April there upward trajectory in view however there was a slight dip in March since Jay only released two videos in March, compared to the previous month in February when he released three videos. From May to July there was a significant increase in YouTube views from 50 views in May to 76 views in June. however, there was a slight dip in views from June to July resulting in only 14 views in July this could be due to the reason Jay only released one video in July
From July to August there was a significant increase in views from 14 views to 125 views. This was due to the title changes and thumbnail changes compared to previous months. None of the videos uploaded in August started with “JAY Dianza” compared to June where four videos started with “JAY Dianza”.However, from August to September there was a significant decrease in views from 125 to 30 view. A Reason for this decrease was the title of the YouTube video being the same start with “JAY”. Two of the three videos uploaded in August started with “Jay”.
Although from September to December Jay had a strong finish to the year. from 30 Views in September to ending the year 2023 with 380 views. This increase in views is because Jay uploaded more content in this period. In both November and December Jay released 8 videos which was his record highest throughout the year 2023.
These videos that have been selected in this chart are Jay's top 10 most viewed video videos. Average view duration is important as it shows how long someone watches content on YouTube and is also a good metric to display audience retention.
A good example of a video that shows good audience retention is the video “Jay Dianza Storytime on How a Lady Violated Him”. This video shows a good representation of optimal audience retention, as the length of the video is 8 Minutes and the viewers that did watch this video watch 3 minutes video which equals 30% of the total watch time for the whole video
However, there is various room for improvement. For example the video “Doja Cat manipulates the whole music industry. The length of this video was 52 minutes however the viewers that watch this video only watch 3 minutes of this content. This means that this video does not grasp the audience's attention to watch the video for a longer time.
The reasoning for this issue is that the length of the video is too long in duration. Evidence from Vidyard has reported “that long video length deters 59.9% of people from watching”. This could be a possible factor as to why Jay did not achieve more views in this video.
When an individual saw this video was 52 minutes it could have put them off from watching the video as people do not have time.
It is important to grab the viewer's attention from the first 10 seconds. According to YouTube statistics from Fourtloard 20% of people who start watching videos leave after the first 10 seconds. So important in that first 10 seconds you have a strategy to grab the Viewer's attention.
Strategic Recommendations:
· Content Diversification: Explore content that has been shown previously to produce high engagement and views like live reactions and personal Storytimes, whilst also producing content new content to expand view reach.
· Release Schedule: Identify viewer engagement pattern to plan when the best time is to post content on the channel, which could increase viewers' engagement and improve overall Chanel performance
· Length of video: Try to reduce the length of the video to optimise user attention and try to grab their attention in the first 10 minutes.
· Thumbnails and Title: Avoided starting your Video Title with “JAY” and use other creative titles to grab the user's attention from the thumbnail
· Consistent Upload: Try to consistently upload more than 4 times a month to improve user engagement
