About this project

The following questions were answered:

  1. What days and times do we tend to be busiest? Friday was the busiest day of the week. Raking in a total of 8,242 Pizza orders. I observed a lunch time peak period (between 12 noon and 1 pm) and a dinner time peak period (between 5 pm and 6 pm).

  2. How many pizzas are we making during peak periods? The lunch time peak hours saw an average of 18 pizzas made daily, and the dinner time peak hours saw an average of 15 pizzas made daily.

  3. What are our best and worst selling pizzas? The Best-selling Pizza (by Value) is the Thai Chicken Pizza (total revenue of $43.4K). But the Worst Selling Pizza is the Brie Carre (total revenue of $11.6K).

  4. What's our average order value? Average order value for the year is $38.31.

  5. How well are we utilizing our seating capacity? Seating capacity is 15 tables and 60 seats. Assuming that all seats are shared equally among the tables, it would mean that each table has 4 seats. It would (however) be beneficial to maintain but re-arrange seating capacity per table to sport a variation of table sizes - to accommodate larger families.
