TREND ANALYSIS DASHBOARD – EVALUATING EACH VENDORS PERFORMANCE IN A MARKET

WhatsApp Market Dashboard – Evaluating Each Vendors Performance in a Market.

I have created a Dashboard using Microsoft Excel. This dashboard is a Visualization of Data collected from a WhatsApp Group called WhatsApp Market. Each week, Four or Five Vendors are put together in a team (MARKET) to do team activity, (taking turns to advertise each vendors product on members WhatsApp status). I am a member of the WhatsApp group and I have participated in team activities on monthly basis beginning January 2024.

I have carefully collected Data on Views Generated and Views Received by each Vendor in all Markets, Analysed the Data and Visualize the Data by creating a Dashboard using Microsoft Excel.

The images attached to this post are screenshots of two Dashboards. On the dashboards are 4 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The KPIs are TOTAL VIEWS GENERATED from each team members WhatsApp status, TOTAL VIEWS RECEIVED by each team member, TOTAL COUNT OF MARKETS and TOTAL COUNT VENDORS. These represent data collected in a one-month period.

On the first Dashboard, there is a Pivot Table which presents a report on VENDORS PERFORMANCE IN A MARKET SORTED LARGEST TO SMALLEST BASED ON THE TOTAL VIEWS RECEIVED per month. On the right side of the Pivot Table is a Pivot Chart. The chart shows TOTAL VIEWS GENERATED and TOTAL VIEWS RECEIVED BY EACH VENDOR in a month.

On the second Dashboard, I am presenting data on the Trend of Views Generated and Received by all Vendors in a Team/Market. On the dashboard is a Slicer that lists all Vendors that participated in a Team activity on a basis. Next to the slicer is the main chart that shows the Trend of Views in all Markets, Sorted Largest to Smallest by Total Number of Views Generated. Next to it, is a chart that shows the Total Views Generated and Total Views Received by all Vendors in all Markets on a monthly basis.

The word "WhatsApp" was used because the author of this write-up is a member of a group chat created on the WhatsApp Messenger platform. The raw data used to create the dashboard was gotten from the WhatsApp group.
