American Energy Market Regulator (AEMR) Stability & Reliability

The goal of the project is to answer 4 key questions...

1. What is AEMR's Energy Stability?

• We will review total outages across all reasons and identify where opportunities lie.

2. What is the impact of Forced Market Outages on AEMR?

• How many of the total outages had a negative impact by being unplanned and/or Forced.

3. How much Energy Losses was there over the time period?

• By analyzing total Megawatts (MS) lost and average MW lost we will be able to get finite answers.

4. What participants have the least Market Reliability?

• Which participants effected AEMR negatively in terms of average days and MW lost regarding forced outages. This analysis was needed in order to discover the bottom performers to decide if they should continue relationships with them or not.
