During this project for the Maven Analytics Rail Challenge, my primary goals were:
- Analyze Ticket Sales: Identify trends and patterns in ticket purchases, highlighting peak travel times, popular routes, and seasonal variations.
- Understand Passenger Behavior: Examine booking habits, such as advance booking trends and preferred travel classes.
- Assess Train Performance: Evaluate delays and cancellations, determining their frequency, common causes, and overall impact on passenger experience.
- Enhance Data Visualization Skills: Use Power BI to create intuitive and informative visualizations that effectively communicate key insights and trends.
- Provide Actionable Insights: Generate insights that can help improve operational efficiency, passenger satisfaction, and strategic planning for rail services.
By achieving these goals, I aimed to demonstrate the power of data analytics in transforming complex datasets into valuable, actionable business intelligence.
