Objective:
My objective is to create an interactive Sales Dashboard with an engaging color scheme.
Approach:
To achieve this goal, I focused on calculating key metrics and gaining insights across various dimensions:
Company level
Team level
Sales agent
Product
Age of deal closing
Data:
The dataset comprises a fact table containing sales data and three dimension tables containing customer accounts, product information, and sales team data. Additionally, I incorporated a calendar table to facilitate quarterly performance metrics.
Metrics:
The entire data model revolves around the following metrics, applied to the mentioned dimensions on a quarterly basis:
Sales value: Total sales amount for the quarter.
Average sales value: Mean value of each successful sale.
Wins: Instances where a sales agent converts an opportunity into a sale.
Win percentage: Success rate of sales agents in closing deals with customers.
Average days to close: Average duration taken to close a deal.
