Project Objective :-

B2B sales pipeline data from a fictitious company that sells computer hardware, including information on accounts, products, sales teams, and sales opportunities. Create an interactive dashboard for sales managers to track their team's quarterly performance.

Key Findings :-

Project & Time Duration :-

  1. Overall 48.16% projects are at Won Stage & Project Completion time was 219.452K, 28.1% projects are at Lost Stage time taken was 102.578K, 18.06% are at Engaging Stage, 5.68% are at Prospecting Stage in last 38 years (Year 1979 - Year 2017).

  2. In Year 2017 61.76% projects are at Won Stage & Project Completion time was 6.119K, 31.76% projects are at Lost Stage time taken was 1.621K , 4.71% projects are at Engaging Stage & 1.76% are at Prospecting Stage that is highest of all the years.

  3. Melvin Marxen works on 1.93K(21.92% project) out of which 882(20.81%) are in Won Stage & time taken was 68K which is hightest in last 38 years followed by Summer Sewald works on 1.7K(19.33% projects) out of which 828(19.54%) are in Won Stage & time taken was 62K. Total 6 Project Managers are leading that projects.

  4. Total time taken in project won stage & completion stage was 322K out of which 19.945K days are taken in Year 2000 & total projects run during 38 years were 7 having 3 series & 8800 Opportunity ID.

  3. Highest revenue is in 1980 i.e. of $17K & lowest in 2017 i.e. $4.54.

Sales Overview :-

Suggestions :-

  1. The percentage of project loss stage is very high which is 28.1% need to work on to reduce that loss & work on to move them to Project Won stage.

  2. Need to work on equal Project Distribution as some Managers have only 10% - 15% of Projects & others have between 16 - 21%.

  3. The Projects are decreasing Year by Year resulting in yearly reduction of Revenue.

  4. 84% revenue is coming from United States rest is from other countries , need to focus on other countries projects also.
