World Cup 2022 Challenge #DataVizQatar - Nov 2022

Using a FIFA dataset of all teams leading up to the world cup, these are profile stats on all of the teams prior to playing in the tournament. With key insights and summaries such as number of world cup winners, participants by continent etc. I designed the dashboard to split the countries into the actual groups that they were placed in, having the world cup trophy in the middle. The design was similar to that of a World Cup scoring poster. In the background is the image of the Lusail stadium, where the final was played.

The dataset was constructed by a Spanish IT Consulting company called Hiberus.

It allows you to click on any country, to bring up key statistics on each team (such as how many times they've qualified for a world cup or how many times they have made it to a quarter-final).
