Data Preparation
To prepare the data for the multi-choice selection questions, my approach involves first extracting the options for the answers into a dimension table. This table is used to provide a categorical breakdown of the answers. Subsequently, the counting of the numbers is performed using DAX measures.
Dashboard Design
The dashboard is divided into three main sections:
- Target Audience Analysis: This section is based on two key metrics: the number of cups of coffee consumed per day and the amount of money spent on coffee consumption each month.
- Demographic Insights: Here, we focus on the demographics of our target customer group to gain a deeper understanding of them.
- Drinking Preferences and Economic Willingness: The final section analyzes their coffee drinking preferences, including the amount of money they are willing to spend (serving as a pricing reference) and the types of coffee shops they prefer to visit. This information serves as a reference for the types of establishments to consider.
