About this project

The Objective

For this challenge, you'll be assuming the role of Marketing Analyst at Maven Motors, an up-and-coming US car manufacturer looking to make a splash in the market. They have approved the budget to run a TV spot during the 2022 Super Bowl, but need you to analyze historical data to help guide the creative direction.

Your task is to recommend a data-driven strategy for the Maven Motors Super Bowl spot, and present it in the form of a single page report or dashboard.

The Data

Super Bowl commercials for 10 popular brands from 2000 to 2021, including links to each and additional information about the length, estimated cost, YouTube statistics, TV viewers, and defining characteristics. The set contains information about 249 Super Bowl ads.

Data selection

Marketing analysis concerning Super Bowl commercials for a company in the automotive industry.

The ads were divided into two parts:

  1. All categories (the 20 most frequently viewed ads on YT).
  2. Automotive (the 20 most frequently viewed ads for automotive brands).

I love this report Agata! Really well designed and easy to interpret, and it's so interesting to see the breakdown by category and the trend in ad length and price per second. The YouTube liks are a nice touch too! 🙌
