Restaurant Order Analysis

This project uses MySQL to investigate the dataset to assess the restaurant's sales between January 1 and March 31, 2023, as well as the order details of each sale.

According to the data, the restaurant has 32 menu items ranging in price from $5 to $19.95, and it serves four varieties of cuisine: American, Asian, Mexican, and Italian. Italian cuisine has the highest average price, and there are nine menus in the Italian category.

The most popular menu item is hamburgers, while the least popular is chicken tacos. The top five highest-selling orders ordered more Italian food.

So, the insights from this analysis are that the restaurant should add a new menu in Italian food and strive to enhance sales and focus promotion on Italian food.
