U.S. Electric Grid Power Outages 2002-2023 Analysis

As part of the Maven Power Outage Challenge i managed to insightfully examine the escalating frequency of electricity outages that poses a significant challenge as we navigate an era marked by surging energy demands and an increase in climate-related disasters.

The dataset at hand encompasses power outage records dating back to 2002, but it is marred by substantial issues pertaining to data quality and integrity.

My primary responsibility involves the consolidation and refinement of the raw data. Subsequently, I aim to develop a comprehensive dashboard or report that facilitates a deeper understanding of outage patterns and trends. This includes quantifying the impact on communities and pinpointing potential vulnerabilities within the grid infrastructure.
