This project "Crop Production Analysis In India" delves into the integral role of crop production within the Agricultural business domain. As a crucial component of the broader supply chain, the agricultural sector is anticipated to undergo substantial evolution in the coming years, propelled by advancements in the realm of the Future Internet.
To understand the trends of crop production in India my primary goals of this project encompass:
1.Cumulative and Mean Production Trends Across Years
2.Overall Land Area Devoted to Crop Cultivation in India
3.Evaluation of Crop Production Across Seasons
4.Comparative Analysis of Area and Production in Relation to Seasons
5.Spatial Allocation of Crops Across India's Geography
6.Primary Crops Among the Top Five in Terms of Production
7.Ranking the Top Ten Regions in Aerial Crop Production
8.Statewise Breakdown of Land Area and Total Production
Tool I used:
database: Ms. Excel
Basic EDA and ETA: Python
Visual analysis: PowerBI
key finding from my analysis are:
1.The majority of the yield comes from crops that bear produce throughout the entire year.
2.Although whole-year crops in India are grown in relatively smaller areas, they contribute significantly to the nation's overall production.
3.Coconut takes the lead as the most abundantly produced crop in India.
4.Kerala holds the distinction of being the state with the highest production of coconut.
5.The largest land area in India is dedicated to the cultivation of rice.
