Guided Project: Restaurant Order Analysis

This project answered the business questions of which dishes on a new menu were performing well and which dishes were not. It also looked at the spending habits of the biggest spenders and provided insights on which cuisines were bringing in the most revenue.

The key insights from this analysis show that the most popular dish is Hamburgers, an American cuisine and the least popular dish is Edamame, an Asian cuisine.

However, for the top spenders the most popular overall cuisine is Italian, with 26 out of the 69 dishes purchased being Italian. American is the least popular overall cuisine for the top spenders, with only 10 dishes ordered out of 69.

Using this data we can suggest to the restaurant that it continue to expand it's offering of Italian food, as it is performing exceedingly well despite it's high average price, while cutting out some of the lesser performing orders such as Edamame.
