I LOVE numbers -- visualizations and reconciliations are my first loves; reporting and modeling are a close second (if not tied).
Having been in accounting since 2007 (a transition from architecture), I have blended my analytics, puzzle-solving, and visualizations that are required for each field.
I have focused on my passions - earning both professional awards ("Work Ethic Award" - 2013) as well as being inducted into the Maven Analytics 2020 Hall of Fame - I have - and CONTINUE TO - expand my knowledge base. Two public blogs:

Two weeks before Covid hit, I started to prepare for the MSCA certification: Analyzing & Visualizing Data with Microsoft Excel. As I was working with Regal Entertainment [at the time], we were amongst the first group to be furloughed in mid-March so I set my passions on fire with this extra free time, earning six professional certifications between May 2020 and March 2021 (Expert-Level Excel and Access, PowerPoint, Tableau, as well as Analyzing & Visualizing Data with Microsoft Excel and PowerBI (two exams). I also took every course from Maven on Udemy [that was available at that time]. I am currently half-way through the latest course: Statistics.
I continue to follow Leila Gharani [in addition to Maven] as well as a host of others including Oz du Soleil
and Mynda Treacy. Learning NEVER ends.
