During my military service with the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, I developed a much stronger passion for fitness, exercise, and adopting a healthy lifestyle. This lead me to pursuing an Exercise Science degree through Western Washington University. Surprisingly, the master's degree program had a huge component of analytical work.
It was during graduate school when I began to develop a passion for data analytics. Upon completing my degree, I soon began to realize that I wanted to capitalize on the analytical aspect and pivot into the field of data analytics.
I began to see how data-driven decisions can improve healthcare outcomes, optimize athletic performance, and help business make more informed decisions. I began to self-study coding with Python and SQL during my free time. With my unique blend of medical, fitness, and data skills, I hope land a role where I can contribute my knowledge and be a part of a team where I can grow in my career.
