I have a keen eye for finding and compiling details plus the imagination to fit those details into a larger picture. I maintain a healthy skepticism about received information, strive to look at the same facts from different angles, and have developed good judgment for grappling with ambiguous situations.

My previous academic work in Classics involved pattern finding within intricate textual systems, evaluating fragmentary and ambiguous evidence with sound judgment, and lucidly presenting a complex subject to a broad audience.
