About this project

I followed the 6 steps method in creating the dash :

  1. Define the purpose : A dash that enable Sales VP and Managers to effectively track and find ways to optimise performance

  2. Choose the right metrics :
    - Total Close Value : the ONE metric that matters
    - Average Close Value & Total Win : Supporting metrics for Total Close Value for quick diagnosis when metric shift
    - Average Variance With SRP : Supporting metrics for Average Close Value
    - Win Rates : Supporting metrics for Total Win
    - Average Days To Close : A measure for pipeline velocity

  3. Present the data effectively : Curb my urge to include fancy visualisations, kept to the bare minimum when I could still communicate insight effectively

  4. Eliminate clutter & noise : Eliminate border, lines that will distract attention

  5. Use layout to focus attention : The most important element starting from Top left to right and then bottom left to right

  6. Tell a clear story : I actually struggle quite a little here, really want to include more text to enable more context but decided that it would just contribute to clutter and distract the user. Kept only crucial context that would give inspiration to user on how to improve performance
