About this project

I've developed two primary views to analyze agent performance: one for individual agent analysis and another for team analysis. In the individual agent view, users can analyze the performance of each agent in detail and drill through for more specific information. The team view allows managers to easily where their agents are along with other agents.

To clearly visualize sales performance, I've implemented a target line bar chart comparing each manager's performance against the previous quarter. This chart is also used in the drill-through page for analyzing product and sector sales. Incorporating data labels enables users to easily track percentage improvements or declines compared to the previous quarter.

In the drill-through page, I've visualized agent ranks for each KPI metric. Users have the flexibility to explore details such as top-selling products or sectors and the percentage of agent sales compared to the team or all agents. Bookmarks have been added to facilitate seamless switching between these two views (rank and detail) within the drill-through page.

Some features I used in the dashboard that you might be interested to know about:

1- In the target line bar chart, I used two measures for the data labels. If the change is negative, then I positioned the data label at 'inside base', and otherwise, I positioned it 'Outside end'. I believe this way of presenting the data labels has a privilege because it doesn't mix and overlap with the target line.

2- I believe that including a message in the custom tooltip, indicating that this visual has a drill-through functionality, can help users better understand how it works and what they need to do to navigate to the detailed page.

3- The most enjoyable aspect of this challenge for me was visualizing ranks and changes in ranks on the drill-through page. To accomplish this, I used a numeric field parameter with exact numbers as number of agents but representing agents rank. I then applied color conditional formatting to show rank value and changes.
